Anderlecht sporting director Herman van Holsbeeck admits that an offer as low as £22.3m would convince the Belgian club to sell Leander Dendoncker this summer.

Anderlecht sporting director Herman van Holsbeeck has revealed that an offer of between £22.3m and £31.3m would convince the Belgian club to sell in-demand midfielder Leander Dendoncker this summer.

On Thursday, it was claimed that Manchester United were interested in signing the 22-year-old, with the Red Devils sending scouts to watch him in action against Antwerp in the Belgian league on Friday night.

Dendoncker, who scored against Man United in last season's Europa League, played the full 90 minutes as Anderlecht opened their league campaign with a goalless draw.

Van Holsbeeck has said that Anderlecht "want to cherish" Dendoncker, but the sporting director has conceded that an offer of £22.3m would place the Belgian side in a difficult position.

"We want to cherish him, but if a club is willing to pay between €25 and €35m, we have a problem," Van Holsbeeck told Het Belang van Limburg.

The two-time Belgian international scored six times in 56 appearances for Anderlecht last term.
