Liverpool are reportedly considering whether to launch an offer of £16m for Werder Bremen forward Max Kruse.

Werder Bremen forward Max Kruse has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Liverpool.

So far, the Merseyside giants have been frustrated in the summer window, with the club currently failing to land top targets Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita.

However, it appears that manager Jurgen Klopp could be keen to add another striker to his squad and according to Bild, he is eyeing a move for Kruse.

In his first year with Bremen, the 29-year-old scored 15 goals in 23 Bundesliga appearances but it has been suggested that he is available for just £16m.

A number of Premier League clubs - including Manchester United and West Ham United - have already been linked with his signature.
