A report claims that Manchester United youngster James Wilson is heading back to the Championship for a second loan spell, with Fulham and Derby County both interested.

Derby County and Fulham are reportedly leading the race to sign Manchester United forward James Wilson on loan.

The 20-year-old is said to have been told by Jose Mourinho that he will play no part for the Red Devils this season and can therefore leave Old Trafford.

Wilson spent last term on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, where he scored five goals in 27 outings - two of which came in his first three games for the club.

According to The Sun, Derby and Fulham are the two Championship sides showing the most interest in the United youngster, with both desperate to bring a new striker on board during the transfer window.

Wilson has made 20 appearances for parent club United over the past three seasons, but has been unable to hold down a regular starting spot during that time.
