Defender Matteo Darmian says that he is happy to remain at Manchester United, despite talk of a transfer to Juventus.

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has suggested that he has no plans to leave Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.

Last season, Darmian was only used on a rotational basis by manager Jose Mourinho, with just 15 starts being made in the Premier League and 29 outings coming in all competitions.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a return to Italy with Juventus, but the versatile full-back has indicated that there is little truth in speculation over his future.

Darmian is quoted by The Independent as saying: "Every time I read something about my future, but [there is] nothing news [wise]. I am happy here.

"I think also it is a part of our work, these kind of rumours. Like I said before, I am happy here so nothing news [wise]. I am a Manchester United player - that's it."

Darmian still has two years remaining on his deal at the English outfit.
