PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn reportedly prefers a transfer to Manchester United over Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn has reportedly decided that he would prefer a move to Manchester United over Tottenham Hotspur.

Bergwijn has come through the youth setup at PSV to score 19 goals from 92 appearances for the first team, and the development of the 21-year-old has resulted in interest from the Premier League.

Manchester United have been linked with an approach for the Netherlands international, while Spurs have emerged as an option for the player in the summer.

However, according to The Sun, Bergwijn would favour a transfer to Old Trafford should terms be agreed between PSV and United.

There remains uncertainty over who will manage United next season, but the North-West giants could still be prepared to try to push through a deal for Bergwijn.
