James Maddison has expressed his hunger to win trophies but does admit that he is still happy at Leicester City, despite rumours of a transfer away from the club this summer.

The 23-year-old midfielder has become a star at the King Power Stadium and has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Maddison has been part of a squad that have exceeded all expectations, with the Foxes sitting in third place in the Premier League table, and the playmaker is hoping that there will be more success to come.

"I'm really enjoying it at Leicester," he told former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry during an interview for Puma.

"I have a trophy cabinet at home, but there are no trophies in it.

"We got to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup and when we were knocked out in the last minute by Aston Villa, it was a feeling I'd never felt before. That was when I realised I wanted to win trophies. We're in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, so fingers crossed."

Maddison has scored nine goals and provided three assists for the Foxes in all competitions this season and also received his first England cap against Montenegro in November last year.
