Manchester United youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah says that he wants to continue improving after breaking into the senior squad.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah has insisted that he will "keep working hard" to ensure that he becomes a regular member of the Manchester United senior squad.

An injury crisis at Old Trafford has seen the 18-year-old defender used on four occasions since the turn of the year, one of which was a start against Watford.

However, rather than rest on his laurels, the Dutchman has vowed to do everything that he can to improve his game.

"Obviously, I will keep working hard. As a young player, you have to do that and keep listening to all the advice from the manager and coaches, especially if you want to play more games," he told the club's official website.

"When the chance comes, you have to play well and make the most of it. I'm happy but, as I've said, I think I have to keep my head down and keeping working on my game."

Fosu-Mensah joined the Red Devils from Ajax in the summer of 2014.
