Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Sheffield United

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their first home game back after lockdown as they welcome Sheffield United to Old Trafford.

Manchester United welcome Sheffield United to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening in their first home game back after the coronavirus pandemic.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side needed a penalty - won by Paul Pogba and scored by Bruno Fernandes - to rescue a point against Tottenham Hotspur in their first game back on Friday night as they missed the chance to move level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea.

Pogba and Marcus Rashford were among the players to return from injury for that game, though, leaving United much closer to full strength than they were heading into lockdown.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up which injury and suspension concerns they still have ahead of Sheffield United's visit.

Axel Tuanzebe

Possible return date: June 24 (vs. Sheffield United)

Axel Tuanzebe was ruled out of the Tottenham match due to an unspecified knock, although he could have recovered in time to be available for Wednesday.

Victor Lindelof

Phil Jones missed Friday night's match due to a knock, but with five extra days to recover he could be in contention for a place in the squad on Wednesday.
