How Manchester United could line up against Fulham

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League game between Fulham and Manchester United, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up at Craven Cottage.

Manchester United face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon looking to move into fourth position in the Premier League table.

The North-West giants were well off the pace when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December, but United are now arguably favourites to earn a place in next season's Champions League.

Solskjaer has guided United to nine wins and a draw from 10 matches in all competitions, but the Norwegian must now begin to consider how to rotate his squad ahead of next week's European clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

A number of changes are expected to be made this weekend, and here Sports Mole looks at how United could line up in West London.

Anthony Martial was only named on the bench for last weekend's win at Leicester City, but the Frenchman could be handed a recall to the starting lineup.

Romelu Lukaku is also in contention to feature in the first XI, while Alexis Sanchez could retain his spot in the team despite a poor showing at the King Power Stadium.

Fred may be provided with an opportunity in midfield if Solskjaer decides to rest Nemanja Matic, but Paul Pogba should keep his place in the centre of the park.

Diogo Dalot could be given the nod over Ashley Young at right-back, and Phil Jones is in contention for a start after missing out against the Foxes.

Fellow centre-back Chris Smalling may feature in the 18-man squad after recovering from a foot injury.
