Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Partizan

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with Partizan.

Manchester United head into Thursday's Europa League encounter with Partizan looking to end their six-game wait for a win in normal time.

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side impressed in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool at the weekend, their only recent success has come courtesy of a penalty-shootout triumph over Rochdale in the EFL Cup.

Ahead of the upcoming hectic schedule, Solskjaer will hope to have more players available when they make the trip to Serbia later this week.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for United as they look to maintain their solid start to the group stages.

Jesse Lingard

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: October 24 (vs. Partizan)

Despite having the international break to recover from a minor hamstring injury, Lingard did not feature in the 18-man squad at the weekend. However, the England midfielder will hope to play some part of the game on Thursday.

Eric Bailly

Paul Pogba

Possible return date: October 24 (vs. Partizan)

Having missed the weekend's clash with Liverpool, Pogba is due to be assessed by the club's medical staff this week. The Frenchman could be in contention on Thursday, although Solskjaer is unlikely to take any risks on the World Cup winner.

Axel Tuanzebe

Tuanzebe had been due to feature against Liverpool, only to suffer a hip injury during the warm-up. While the defender is still being assessed, it appears unlikely that the academy graduate will play any part on Thursday.

Nemanja Matic
