Samir Nasri admits that there "could still be movement" before Wednesday's transfer deadline, with a trio of Italian clubs keen on signing the Manchester City midfielder.

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has suggested that he could be on his way out of the club before the transfer window closes later this week.

The 29-year-old had been widely expected to depart the Etihad Stadium this summer after being forced to train alone when returning to pre-season training "overweight".

Nasri was given a surprise reprieve by manager Pep Guardiola at the weekend, however, as he was brought on as a 75th-minute sub in the 3-1 win over West Ham United in the Premier League.

Guardiola also heaped praise on the Frenchman for his "fantastic" attitude in training, but Nasri admits that he is still unsure where his future lies.

"There could still be movement. It depends on a lot of things, in fact," he told SFR Sport. "There's been a lot of speculation. Things that are true. Things that are false too because they've never shown me the door.

"But I said 'everything depends on what's up there [in your head] and your desire'. So we'll see. We're going to sit down, discuss it and see what's to be done."

Roma, Inter Milan and AC Milan have all recently been linked with Nasri, who joined Man City from Arsenal for £24m five years ago.
