Manchester City will reportedly reinvest any money from the possible sale of Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich straight back into their squad by going after Joao Felix.

Manchester City are ready to cash in on Leroy Sane and replace the German winger with Benfica forward Joao Felix, according to a report.

Sane has refused to commit to a new contract at the Etihad Stadium and is a confirmed target for Bayern Munich.

The Sun suggests that the 23-year-old is valued at £90m by City, potentially putting him out of Bayern's reach.

However, should the Bundesliga champions step forward with an offer it is claimed that the Citizens will put the cash towards bringing in Felix from Benfica.

Pep Guardiola is said to be a big fan of the £100m-rated teenage attacker, who has directly contributed to 26 goals in the Primeira Liga and Europa League this term, but City face competition from the likes of Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United

The Catalan coach is reportedly looking to freshen up his squad, despite winning a domestic treble in 2018-19.
