Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony is reportedly undergoing a medical ahead of his proposed return to Swansea City.

Swansea City are reportedly closing in on a deal to bring Wilfried Bony back to the club from Manchester City.

The Swans are understood to have agreed a fee of around £12m for the Ivory Coast international, who spent last season on loan at Stoke City.

Sky Sports News reports that Bony is currently undergoing a medical at Swansea, with the deal expected to be confirmed before tonight's transfer deadline.

Bony joined Man City from Swansea in January 2015 but has struggled for first-team opportunities at the Etihad Stadium, scoring 10 goals in 46 appearances.

The 28-year-old enjoyed a more successful time during his first spell at Swansea, scoring 35 goals in 70 games between 2013 and 2015.
