Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly open to staying on at the Etihad Stadium for another four years.

Pep Guardiola intends to stay at Manchester City for another four years, according to a report.

The 48-year-old was forced to publicly speak out about his future this weekend following suggestions that he is interested in taking charge of Juventus.

Speaking after City's 3-1 win over Watford that leaves them a point clear of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League, the Catalan coach said that it is "impossible" to leave the Etihad Stadium in the next two years, unless he is sacked.

Guardiola's current deal expires in June 2021, but The Telegraph suggests that he has told close friends he is open to extending that by another couple of years, taking him through to seven seasons at the Etihad Stadium.

City's owners reportedly want the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager to stay for a full decade and build a dynasty, which he is well on course to achieving as the Citizens are in contention to land a quadruple in just his second campaign at the helm.
