Cristiano Ronaldo is keen for Pep Guardiola to leave Manchester City and become the new head coach of Juventus, according to a report.

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly keen for Pep Guardiola to become the new head coach of Juventus.

The Old Lady have secured their eighth straight Serie A title but fell at the quarter-final stage of the Champions League, and there has been speculation surrounding the future of boss Massimiliano Allegri.

Allegri recently hinted that he would be staying with the club this summer, although it is understood that the Italian's position is under consideration.

According to Il Giornale, Juve are keen for Guardiola to leave Manchester City to take charge of the Italian giants, which is a move that would be welcomed by Ronaldo.

Guardiola, who took charge of City in 2016, has won the Premier League title and two League Cups during his time at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens are currently locked in a ferocious battle with Liverpool for the 2018-19 Premier League crown, with just one point separating the two teams at the summit.
