Manchester City welcomed West Ham United to the Etihad on Sunday afternoon looking to make it three straight wins at the start of the new Premier League season.
Raheem Sterling sent the home side 1-0 ahead in the seventh minute of action, before Fernandinho added a second in the 18th minute during what was a dominant first half from Pep Guardiola's team.
West Ham were back in the match just before the hour when Michail Antonio headed home from close range, but Man City scored a third in second-half stoppage time when Sterling squeezed the ball past James Collins from inside the box.
