Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Bromwich Albion

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion.

Manchester City will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they welcome a struggling West Bromwich Albion to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

Pep Guardiola's side shared the points with Manchester United in an uneventful Manchester derby on Saturday, and the result has left the title hopefuls down in ninth position in the table.

City will be aiming to record just their sixth league victory of the season against a Baggies side that are currently 19th in the division, having picked up just six points from 12 matches.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the home side's latest injury and suspension news.

Eric Garcia

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle injury
Possible return date: Unknown

Eric Garcia was forced off the field during the Champions League clash with Marseille on December 9 after picking up a muscular issue and subsequently missed out against United. The Spain international will again be unavailable on Tuesday and is not expected to return to training until the latter stages of December.

Sergio Aguero

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: December 15 (vs. West Brom)

Guardiola had already confirmed last week that Sergio Aguero would not start the Manchester derby following his recent injury problems, but the Argentine missed out entirely, having been struck down with gastroenteritis on Friday. As a result, the striker remains a major doubt for the clash with West Brom.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

City do not have any suspension issues ahead of the clash with Slaven Bilic's side.
