Wigan Athletic boss Paul Cook insists that there are "no problems" with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola following the pair's tunnel bust-up.

Wigan Athletic boss Paul Cook has insisted that he has "no problems" with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola over a bust-up in the DW Stadium tunnel.

While players and coaching staff were entering the dressing rooms at half time of Monday night's FA Cup fifth-round tie, the City boss clashed with Cook and referee Anthony Taylor in the tunnel.

Guardiola was incensed by the decision to send off Fabian Delph for a challenge on Max Power, particularly as the match official initially grabbed a yellow card to book the midfielder.

Taylor eventually changed his mind following protests from Wigan players, and the City man was given his marching orders.

When asked about the incident by BBC Sport, Cook said: "There's no problems, from our point of view we're trying to get every edge and everything we can and from his point of view he wants the game played and he's a fantastic manager."

In the end, the Latics ended victorious as Will Grigg scored the one and only goal to send the underdogs into the quarter-finals.
