Watford and Hull City are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic, who is understood to be available for just £8m.

Watford and Hull City are reportedly interested in signing out-of-favour winger Lazar Markovic from Liverpool this summer.

Markovic has been told that he is free to leave Anfield having spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull City, where he scored two goals in 14 appearances.

The relegated Tigers are thought to be interested in making the move permanent, but will face competition from Watford.

The Hornets are now managed by Marco Silva, who took Markovic to the KCOM Stadium, while his successor at Hull Leonid Slutsky reportedly sees the Serbian as an ideal replacement for Ahmed Elmohamady.

Liverpool are understood to have put an £8m asking price on the 23-year-old winger, representing a major loss on the £21m they spent on him in 2014.

Markovic made just 19 Premier League appearances for the Reds before being sent out on loan to Fenerbahce and Sporting Lisbon in addition to his brief spell at Hull.
