A report claims that Liverpool are not prepared to sell Christian Benteke for less than £30m this summer.

Liverpool have reportedly placed an asking price of £30m on the head of Christian Benteke.

It is understood that the Belgian international will leave Anfield this summer after struggling to impress during his first season with the Merseyside club.

Crystal Palace have reportedly made a £25m offer for the 25-year-old, but according to Goal.com, Liverpool are not prepared to sanction a move for anything less than £30m.

Liverpool paid Aston Villa £32.5m to sign the powerful striker in last summer's transfer window, but Benteke only managed nine Premier League goals during the 2015-16 campaign.

Christian Benteke of Liverpool celebrates as he scores their second goal during the UEFA Europa League Group B match between Liverpool FC and FC Girondins de Bordeaux at Anfield on November 26, 2015 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
