Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho is reportedly so determined to join Barcelona in the remaining weeks of the transfer window that he will beg for a move away from Anfield.

Philippe Coutinho is desperate to join Barcelona this summer and is prepared to plead with Liverpool chiefs to let him leave, according to a report.

The 25-year-old's Anfield future has dominated the back pages in recent weeks, having supposedly been made the Catalan club's top summer transfer target.

It is claimed by Spanish outlet Sport that Coutinho is willing to take a pay cut, and will even beg the Merseyside outfit to grant him his wish of departing should they play hardball over the transfer fee.

Despite the intense speculation, Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has refused to confirm whether an agreement has been reached with Liverpool.

Separate reports in the Spanish press suggest that last season's second-placed side in La Liga could hand over as much as £100m to get their man in the remaining weeks of the window.
