Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain and is expected to be the subject of a bid in January, according to reports.

Paris Saint-Germain have expressed a renewed desire to sign Liverpool talisman Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.

The Brazilian moved to Anfield from Inter Milan in 2013 and has gone on to become an integral member of the team, having been named the club's Player of the Year for the past two seasons.

According to The Express, PSG were knocked back with a £22.5m bid for the midfielder during the summer, but will return with an improved offer in January.

Coutinho, 24, signed his most recent Reds contract in February 2015, which is due to expire in the summer of 2020.
