Sam Hart leaves Liverpool to join Blackburn Rovers on a permanent deal - the League One side's 11th signing of a busy summer at Ewood Park.

Blackburn Rovers have continued their transfer-deadline day business with the signing of Liverpool youngster Sam Hart on a two-year deal.

The League One side, who also brought in Rekeem Harper on loan from West Bromwich Albion earlier on Thursday evening, have landed the full-back for an undisclosed fee.

Bolton-born Hart spent time in Manchester United's academy system before joining Liverpool at the age of 16, but he failed to make a single competitive appearance for the Reds' first team.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp did use the 20-year-old in a pre-season friendly against Mainz last year, however, and he also boasts experience on loan at Port Vale from the 2016-17 season.

Blackburn, currently 10th in the third tier of English football, have now made 11 signings this summer.
