Liverpool will reportedly reject any bids tabled for Danny Ings, despite the striker facing limited game time.

Liverpool will reportedly turn down any bids that they receive for striker Danny Ings before the close of the transfer window on Wednesday.

Manager Jurgen Klopp recently admitted that the 24-year-old is unlikely to get many first-team minutes at Anfield this season.

Ings, who spent the majority of last season on the treatment table with cruciate ligament damage, is expected to fall behind Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge in the pecking order.

It is believed that Sunderland were interested in taking the former Burnley forward on loan, but according to The Mirror, the club will turn down any approaches as Klopp wants Ings to feature during the season.

Ings has not played in any of Liverpool's four games so far this season.
