Liverpool to increase bid for Sporting Lisbon winger Joao Mario?

Liverpool are reportedly willing to increase their £33.9m offer for Sporting Lisbon winger Joao Mario.

Liverpool are reportedly planning to up their offer for Sporting Lisbon winger Joao Mario.

The 23-year-old is believed to have attracted interest from various clubs, including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan following his performances for Portugal at Euro 2016.

Liverpool are reported to have already made a €40m (£33.9m) offer for the winger, but the Premier League club are prepared to increase that figure, according to A Bola.

The report adds that Mario has a €60m (£50.8m) release clause in his contract and his Portuguese club are holding out for that amount.
