Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly still hopeful of bringing Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia to the club on loan when the transfer window reopens.
The 23-year-old, who was first linked with a switch to Anfield last week, is said to be the Reds' top target for the New Year.
Transfermarketweb claims that, despite failing to impress at San Siro since his £26m switch from Sevilla last year, Klopp is convinced he can get the best out of the France international on Merseyside and will make an approach for his services.
Kondogbia, capped three times by Les Bleus at senior level in the past three years, has featured for Inter on four occasions this term.
