Report: Liverpool renew interest in Poland international Piotr Zielinski

Liverpool have reportedly launched a £9.5m bid for Piotr Zielinski and are hopeful that Jurgen Klopp's presence will convince the Poland international to pick Anfield.

Liverpool have renewed their interest in Poland international Piotr Zielinski and are set to make a £9.5m bid for the midfielder, according to reports.

The 21-year-old is currently contracted to Serie A side Udinese, but has spent the last two seasons on loan at Empoli, making 62 appearances in the Italian top flight.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken to the player personally over the telephone to reassure him that he would be a major part of his future plans.

Zielinski is also on the radar of Italian side Napoli.
