RB Leipzig reject an improved offer thought to be around £75m from Liverpool for midfielder Naby Keita.

RB Leipzig managing director Oliver Mintzlaff has reiterated that Liverpool target Naby Keita is not for sale this summer.

Liverpool have been chasing the midfielder for the majority of the transfer window and, after seeing a £66m bid for him turned down earlier this month, are understood to have returned with an improved offer.

The Reds are reported to have made a £75m approach for the Guinea international, but RB Leipzig have once again rejected the offer and are determined to keep the 22-year-old.

"RB Leipzig is looking forward to the next season together with Naby Keita," Mintzlaff told reporters.

Keita played 45 minutes for the club during a pre-season friendly win over Turkish side Konyaspor on Tuesday evening.
