Emre Can arrives in Turin to undergo medical with Juventus

Emre Can is on the brink of completing his free transfer from Liverpool to Juventus after arriving in Turin to undergo a medical.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has arrived in Turin to undergo a medical and complete his free transfer to Juventus.

The Italian champions have seen off competition from a string of other clubs to land the 24-year-old after he allowed his Anfield contract to run down.

Can will officially be out of contract at the end of the month and can then - barring any complications with his medical - put pen to paper with Juve.

Reports in the Italian press suggest that the Germany international has been offered a five-year deal with the Bianconeri, worth around £100,000 a week.

Liverpool were willing to match those wages, but Can is said to have made clear to Jurgen Klopp that he wants to play more regularly in the holding midfield position.
