Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk admits that his teammates should be angry after conceding two late goals to draw 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk has said that his teammates 'should be angry' after conceding two late goals against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp's charges moved into a 2-0 lead at The Hawthorns over the weekend, only for the Reds to concede two goals in the last 10 minutes of the contest ahead of a crucial Champions League semi-final against Roma on Tuesday.

"Everyone gets upset. No one wants to concede at the last, even concede at all," said Van Dijk, according to Sky Sports News. "The way we conceded those goals is something to be angry about.

"We need to be honest with ourselves and everyone was. We need to do better. You have to tell each other the truth, you cannot be nice and happy when we want to achieve so much as a team, as a club. A draw here is not good enough but there is no reason to panic."

Van Dijk moved to Liverpool in January and became the world's most expensive defender following a £75m transfer from Southampton.
