Nike reportedly reaches an agreement with Liverpool which will see the company sponsor the club from the start of the 2020-21 campaign.

Nike have reportedly reached an agreement with Liverpool which will see the company sponsor the club from the start of the 2020-21 campaign.

Liverpool currently have a sponsorship deal with New Balance, which ends at the conclusion of this season.

Brighton and Hove Albion, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are the other three Premier League clubs to be sponsored by the mega American company.

According to Forbes, Liverpool have struck a deal with Nike which, due to the club's stature, will yield much more for the Reds compared with the above teams.

The report states that Liverpool's new sponsorship deal is worth considerably more than the £75m received by Manchester United from Adidas each season.

Jurgen Klopp's side, who won their sixth Champions League title in May, could end up earning a sum on par with both Barcelona and Real Madrid, who receive £98 million and £108 million from Nike and Adidas respectively.
