Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says that the Kop at Anfield has produced the "best half-hour" that he has experienced in football.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has claimed that Anfield's famous Kop produced the "best half-hour" that he has experienced in football.

The German coach was referring to the dramatic end to Liverpool's 4-3 victory over his former club Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of the Europa League last season.

Ahead of his guest appearance on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Klopp was asked to compare the Kop to Dortmund's Yellow Wall.

"It's different," Klopp told Sky Sports News. "All I can say is that there's nothing compared to the Yellow Wall because there's 27,000 people standing - that's quite impressive.

"We have a new stand in Liverpool, which is 22,000 people sitting, which I have never seen, but the Kop created the best half-hour that I've had in football. I don't have to say it was the last half-hour against Dortmund, the atmosphere in the stadium was the best I've ever had - hopefully not the best I will ever have but it was outstanding.

"I don't want to compare. I'm a lucky guy who has had two wonderful clubs and now I can work here. The Kop is an impressive place and I love to play in front of them."

Liverpool are unbeaten in six games in all competitions.
