Philippe Coutinho feels aggrieved at how he is treated by Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, according to a report.

The Brazil international is believed to have handed in a transfer request at Anfield, which was reportedly rejected almost immediately by the club.

Barcelona are thought to be eager to recruiting Coutinho and, according to Sky Sports News, the main reason he wants to leave Liverpool is because, as a Brazilian, he finds it impossible to turn down interest from Camp Nou.

The report, which quotes a member of Coutinho's family, goes on to suggest that problems between the player and his manager have been brewing for the past six months and that the 25-year-old does feel like he can find an amicable solution to the situation.

Coutinho will miss Liverpool's Premier League season opener at Watford this weekend and is a doubt for next week's Champions League playoff with Hoffenheim due to a back injury.
