Brighton have failed to win in their last three outings, but Chris Hughton will be delighted to head into their meeting with the Merseyside giants in 10th position and seven points above the relegation zone.
The teams are meeting in a league game for the first time since 1983, although there have been six cup matches between then and today's fixture.

Out of nowhere, Liverpool take a 2-0 lead through Can and Firmino. Firstly, Can found the back of the net with a bullet header from a corner before moments later, Firmino latched onto a pass across the box from Coutinho before lashing the ball into the bottom corner from eight yards out.
