Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum says that he remains relaxed ahead of the second leg of Liverpool's Champions League semi-final with Roma.

Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has suggested that Liverpool remain content with their 5-2 aggregate lead over Roma ahead of the second leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Last week, Liverpool surged into a 5-0 advantage at Anfield, only for Roma to score two late goals on Merseyside to give themselves a way back into the tie.

However, despite acknowledging that it was 'disappointing' to concede during the latter stages of the first leg, Wijnaldum has insisted that he has few concerns about Wednesday's clash at the Stadio Olimpico.

At a press conference, the 27-year-old told reporters: "Good. Relaxed. I don't have problems with sleep. It is the first time in this position where I play a game like this so it's not like I feel different or anything. Of course it is a different match but the feeling is the same.

"We are now so close that you can go to the final and try to win it but at the beginning of the season I didn't really think about it because this is my first season in the Champions League and I didn't know what to expect or how difficult it was.

"There was a little bit of disappointment but if someone had said from the beginning would we take a 5-2 win over Roma, I think everyone would have taken it."

Whoever prevails in Italy will set up a final with Real Madrid after the Spanish giants edged past Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
