Relive Sports Mole's live text commentary of the Champions League Group E clash between Sevilla and Liverpool.

Liverpool relinquished a 3-0 first-half lead to draw 3-3 with Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium on Tuesday night.

The result has delayed Champions League qualification for the Reds, meaning that they cannot reach the last 16 of the tournament until their final game against Spartak Moscow, from which they will require just one point.

Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane put the Reds in cruise control with three goals between them, but Wissam Ben Yedder's headed goal and penalty switched the narrative in Spain.

Guido Pizarro's injury-time equaliser gave Sevilla that all-important point ahead of the final round of Group E matches.

6.45pmLiverpool have experienced highs and lows so far this season given that they have displayed scintillating form in front of goal, but their defensive issues are still clear to see. If they can book a spot in the knockout rounds of the Champions League, it will inject more confidence in the team ahead of sterner tests. It is worth noting that Liverpool can still qualify with a draw if Spartak lose to Maribor.

6.47pmSevilla could prove to be a stumbling block, though, as the Spanish outfit have already caused problems for Klopp's side. In the September meeting, the Andalusian team secured a 2-2 draw at Anfield and they also defeated the Reds in the Europa League final in the 2015-16 campaign.

6.49pmQuestions have been asked of the Liverpool manager and whether the club can compete once again with football's elite. The Reds were handed a favourable draw when Sevilla, Spartak Moscow and Maribor were pulled out of the pot.

6.51pmHowever, it has not been the easiest ride as they were held by Sevilla and Spartak. The only convincing wins came against minnows Maribor, in which Liverpool scored 10 goals across both fixtures and did not concede a single strike.

6.53pmKlopp's men would have been expected to take maximum points in those matches, though, so the real test will be in Spain this evening, where they face a team that have not lost at home in any competitions so far.

6.55pmWithout further ado, let's bring you the teams that will be lining up on the pitch this evening!

6.57pmLIVERPOOL XI: Karius; Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Moreno; Wijnaldum, Henderson, Coutinho; Mane, Firmino, Salah

6.59pmSEVILLA XI: Rico; Mercado, Geis, Lenglet, Escudero; N'Zonzi, Pizarro; Sarabia, Banega, Nolito; Ben Yedder

7.01pmSome thought that Adam Lallana would have made the squad after returning to training following an injury that has kept him on the sidelines for the entire season so far, but Klopp has not included the midfielder. As expected, though, Loris Karius returns to the first XI and continues his role as first choice goalkeeper in the Champions League.

7.03pmDejan Lovren and Ragnar Klavan continue their partnership at the back due to Joel Matip's absence, while Joe Gomez comes in for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who started against Southampton at the weekend.

7.05pmAlberto Moreno, Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum and Philippe Coutinho all keep their places in the XI, while Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah lead the line in an attacking trio.

7.07pmAs for Sevilla, Simon Kjaer was tipped to replace Johannes Geis at centre-back, but the latter starts. Daniel Carrico and Nico Pareja will play no part in tonight's match, but Sergio Escudero makes it, despite being one booking away from suspension.

7.09pmFamiliar faces Steven N'Zonzi and Nolito, who previously played for Stoke City and Manchester City respectively, are also included in the first XI this evening.

7.11pmThe man of the moment from Liverpool's perspective is certainly Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian international was the Reds' star attraction in the summer transfer window as they spent £34m to sign the Chelsea reject from Roma. At the moment, it seems that the Merseyside outfit made the right call. Tonight, he will become the first Liverpool player since Luis Suarez in December 2013 to score two goals in three consecutive matches if he nets a brace against Sevilla.

7.13pmIn 18 appearances, Salah, who plays on the right side of an attacking trio, has scored 14 times, which is a club record. The 25-year-old added two to his tally in a 3-0 triumph over Southampton on Saturday, marking the second consecutive game where he has scored twice.

7.15pmIn fact, the wide-man has scored eight times and created two assists in his last six games in all competitions. Proving how prolific Salah has been, the longest that he has gone without scoring a goal this season is three matches.

7.17pmWhat is most impressive about the Egyptian is that he is not a traditional striker but is still racking up the goals. He is positioned in the wide areas, but can cut inside and occupy that central position when needed. His form in front of goal gives the likes of Roberto Firmino some breathing room as the Brazilian is usually the focal point of Liverpool's attack.

7.19pmOne man who has not been shining, or perhaps it is more appropriate to say that he has not been given many chances to shine, is Daniel Sturridge. Recent reports have claimed that the 28-year-old is ready to quit Anfield in search of regular first-team football.

7.21pmThe report claims that the forward is concerned that his chances of making the England World Cup squad will be severely hampered if he stays at Anfield. So far this season, Sturridge has made 12 appearances in all competitions, but only four of them have been from the starting spot.

7.23pmIn that time, the striker has scored three goals and produced three assists, and even though he has a clean bill of health, injury worries are never far away when it comes to the ex-Chelsea forward.

7.25pmSo, how are Liverpool doing as a team, then? Well, defensive problems have reared their ugly heads and it is no surprise given that Klopp failed to strengthen that area in the summer transfer window. Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk was the rumoured top target, but the Dutchman ended up staying put.

7.27pmSo far this season, the Reds have conceded 22 goals in all competitions and have hit 37 in the other direction. At the moment, the team's form at the back has improved given that they have allowed just one goal to get shipped past them in their last four games in all competitions.

7.29pmIn attack, Liverpool have no problems. As mentioned, the team have found the back of the net 37 times so far and 24 of those have come in the Premier League. As expected, Salah is the leading scorer with 14, Roberto Firmino second with seven and Philippe Coutinho with five to his name.

7.31pmSevilla may not be as prolific with a goal tally of 27, but Eduardo Berizzo's side are in fine form having won four of their last five matches in all competitions. Their La Liga campaign has taken them to fifth in the table after 12 games.

7.34pmThe club are just two points adrift of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, and the one blip on their recent five-game run was a defeat to league leaders Barcelona, who sealed a 2-1 triumph at the Camp Nou

7.35pmIn terms of the club's European form, they have been on a roll, winning six of their last eight encounters. If they manage to book a place in the knockout rounds of the Champions League, it will be just their second time of doing so in eight seasons.

7.37pmEven though Sevilla will be heading into the match in strong form, particularly at home, they have struggled to keep a clean sheet. Only once in their last eight outings have the team managed to keep the opposition out of the net, which is encouraging for an attack-minded side like Liverpool.

7.38pmDID YOU KNOW? The Merseyside outfit have suffered defeat just twice in their last 19 games in Europe under Klopp, and they are five goals adrift of matching their highest ever scoring tally (18) in the group stage.

7.40pmHEAD TO HEAD: As we know, these two sides have already met at Anfield earlier in the season. Wissam Ben Yedder put the Spanish outfit ahead inside the first five minutes before Firmino equalised later on in the half. Before the break, Liverpool were 2-1 up thanks to Salah, but Joaquin restricted the home side to a point with a 72nd-minute goal.

7.41pmThe only other time that these two clubs have gone head to head was in the 2015-16 Europa League final in which Sevilla won 3-1 after responding from Sturridge's first-half goal. Kevin Gameiro led the revival by netting 17 seconds into the second half and Coke nabbed the other two.

7.43pmPREDICTION: This is a tough one given Sevilla's impressive home form. Liverpool will head into the fixture with plenty of confidence because of their recent run of winning results, but the defensive frailties are still there. A draw would not be a huge surprise, but one goal from either side could make all the difference.

7.44pmBoth teams have made it out onto the pitch and the home fans are certainly trying to intimidate the visiting side. The stadium is rocking!

1 minKICKOFF! Sevilla get us underway! The home side are all in white, while Liverpool wear their traditional red strip.

1 minSalah slips in Mane on the right before the latter gets t the byline with the ball before Lenglet gets a crucial touch to give away a corner.

2 minGOAL! SEVILLA 0-1 LIVERPOOL (FIRMINO)

2 minWhat a perfect start for Liverpool! Coutinho drifts the corner into the box and Wijnaldum leaps to flick the ball on for Firmino, who pings it into the back of the net at the near post from close range.

4 minAt the other end, Sevilla try to make a breakthrough down the right-hand side and end up winning a throw-in. It's wasted, though, as Liverpool close them down and win back possession.

6 minThe visitors are not giving Sevilla a minute's peace on the ball. The hosts have barely strung a move together, but they get some relief as the ball deflects off Mane for a throw-in.

8 minSome nice link-up play between Coutinho and Mane, but the move breaks down as the latter's attempt skies over after feeling pressure from his opponent. The corner comes into the box, but the keeper comfortably punches clear.

9 minA nice through-ball from Banega finds Sarabia, who is an acres of space, but his pass to Nolito is just behind the attacker and the ball bobbles out for a Liverpool throw.

10 minLiverpool are in some trouble here as Henderson gives away a free kick in a dangerous area. The ball is whipped in by Banega, but it's a poor effort and Karius comes off his line to catch with ease.

11 minThe ball is sent long for Nolito, but Gomez tracks him all the way and he gets his body in front to make sure than the ball goes out for a throw. The Liverpool defender will be full of confidence tonight after keeping Neymar quiet in England's recent friendly with Brazil.

13 minCHANCE! Sarabia crosses the ball over to Nolito, who is plenty of space. He spots the overlapping run from Escudero and knocks it forward for the midfielder, who smashes the ball into the side netting.

15 minEscudero wins a free kick close to the touchline after Gomez comes charging in, but it looks like a soft one. Sevilla are seeing more of the ball, but at the moment play is suiting Liverpool. They can afford to sit back with that one-goal cushion.

16 minSome lovely play from Liverpool at the other end as Firmino gets to the edge of the area before lifting the ball across for Salah, who chests down but can't keep control to get a shot away.

17 minWijnaldum plays the ball over the top for Lovren. Yes, Lovren! The defender charges towards the byline but he gets tracked and the ball goes out of play.

18 minCoutinho tries to split the defenders to play in Mane, but there's too much on the ball and it goes beyond the Senegal international.

19 minSAVE! Oh my! Sevilla should be level! The hosts break and the ball is left at Nolito's feet. He cuts inside to break away from Gomez and shoots from inside the box. Karius comes off his line and gets a left hand to it. He ends up nudging the ball off the post and Liverpool survive.

20 minCHANCE! Another massive opportunity for Sevilla as Liverpool get cut open at the back yet again. This time it's Ben Yedder who unleashes a low shot. He gets the ball past Karius, but the shot drags inches wide of the post.

22 minSAVE! A miss for Liverpool this time! Henderson plays in Firmino and the Brazilian is away! He gets one on one with the keeper and shoots low, but the keeper makes a stop.

22 minGOAL! SEVILLA 0-2 LIVERPOOL (MANE)

22 minWell, who would have thought Liverpool would score from two set pieces?! It's basically a carbon copy from the first goal as Coutinho whips the ball into the box and Firmino flicks it on towards Mane with a header. The Senegal international then heads across goal and it bounces into the back of the net.

24 minThat goal has stunned Sevilla. Inside just a handful of minutes, the hosts had two great opportunities to score, but they failed to make the most of them. They now have to score three or more to secure progression into the last 16.

27 minBanega sends a lovely ball over the top, but Ben Yedder is marginally offside. Even though Liverpool look relatively comfortable here, they are showing vulnerability at the back.

28 minOh dear, the ball boy wants to get involved! He gives the ball to Gomez for a throw-in but, I assume, in frustration at the current result he shoves it into the Liverpool man's chest. Klopp pulls the youngster back to give him so stern words. Very strange moment.

30 minGOAL! SEVILLA 0-3 LIVERPOOL (FIRMINO)

30 minThis is turning into a comfortable job for Liverpool! The ball is hoofed high for Mane, who uses his quick pace to storm into the box. Instead of being selfish, the winger crosses low to Firmino, who is there for a tap in.

32 minBen Yedder gets the ball in the danger area and tries to play in Sarabia, but Lovren and Klavan crowd out the forward and allow Karius to collect.

34 minSevilla's frustration is summed up by Sarabia, who smashes the ball into the stands after the referee blows up for a foul on the touchline. Nothing seems to be going their way at the moment.

36 minKlavan's clearance finds Firmino, wh is on the wrong side of the defender, but the ball eventually falls to Coutinho. The Brazilian links up with Salah in the box and the ball ends up crashing off a defender for a corner.

37 minThe corner drops to Lovren on the edge of the area, but he completely misses the volley. Thankfully for Liverpool, they manage to nick the ball and prevent a Sevilla counter. Salah tries to whip one in, but his attempt goes wide.

38 minBOOKING! First yellow of the night goes to Moreno, who gets penalised for lunging in on Mercado.

39 minSevilla give the ball away and it's Coutinho who takes charge and breaks away from his marker down the left. The Brazilian gets to the edge of the box and tries to feed the ball through to Mane, but it's blocked.

40 minCHANCE! Some more sloppy play from Sevilla as they give the ball away in the middle of the park. Coutinho plays it forward for Salah with the outside of his boot. The Egyptian connects, but his left-footed shot bounces off the keeper and is then headed away by the defence.

42 minPlenty of space for Liverpool as they work the ball around the danger area. It ends up at Salah's feet and the Egyptian plays a lovely ball over the top trying to pick out Coutinho at the post but its cut out by Pizarro.

44 minBlunder from Moreno as the Spaniard gives away a corner when all he had to do was knock it back to the keeper. The corner is whipped in but it comes to nothing for Sevilla.

45 minBOOKING! Silly from Banega as he picks up a yellow card for pulling Coutinho's shirt. The Sevilla man can have no arguments.

45+2 minHALF-TIME: SEVILLA 0-3 LIVERPOOL

8.34pmThe whistle blows and Liverpool head into the dressing room in the best possible position. Jurgen Klopp's side are three goals to the good thanks to hits from Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. The Brazilian struck inside the first two minutes to put the visiting side ahead in Spain.

8.38pmSevilla had two great opportunities to get on the scoresheet, but the first was saved and the second missed the target. Goals could have changed the narrative of the game, but Mane ensured that it was Liverpool who remained dominant as he scored an almost identical copy of the first goal.

8.42pmFirmino nabbed his second and Liverpool's third of the game before the half-hour mark and it was a simple tap in after Mane did all the work. Klopp's men have looked incredibly comfortable going forward, but their defensive frailties have once again been exposed. If Sevilla had taken their chances, the game could be panning out very differently.

8.43pmWith that being said, the Spanish side have offered very little. The team have given the ball away cheaply and their movement has been slow. With Liverpool in such rampant form, Sevilla have been unable to match them. They will need to improve drastically to get anything out of this game. As it stands, Liverpool are through to the last 16.

45 minRESTART! Liverpool get the second half underway! Sevilla have made a change at half time, with Vazquez replacing N'Zonzi.

46 minAn early burst from Sevilla as Vazquez is involved instantly and sends a short pass aiming for Sarabia in the box, but Lovren manages to deal with it.

47 minWell, the intent is there from Sevilla! They have a mountain to climb, so understandably they have jumped out of the blocks in this second half. Liverpool can afford to sit back and wait to break.

48 minThe ball is lifted high for Sarabia in the box. The move is rightly flagged offside but the midfielder gets whacked in the head by Karius who comes off his line to punch clear. The Sevilla man is fine to continue.

50 minA nervy moment for Gomez as the high ball looks simple to deal with, but the defender lets it bounce and there's a player lurking behind him. He ends up clearing the danger, though.

51 minFoolish from Moreno as he barges into Sarabia in a dangerous area and it's free kick for Sevilla...

50 minGOAL! SEVILLA 1-3 LIVERPOOL (BEN YEDDER)

50 minThey're back in it! Sevilla get some hope as Banega delivers a great ball from the set piece to find the head of Ben Yedder, who gets across Moreno and heads past Karius.

53 minIt's all Sevilla at the moment and they get another free kick in a decent area. Once again, Banega takes it, but this times it gets a big deflection and it comes to nothing.

54 minBOOKING! Mercado's reaction gets him a yellow card. Not entirely sure what he's bothered about as the referee blows for a free kick for Sevilla. In truth, it wasn't a free kick in the first place as Coutinho and Vazquez challenged for the ball.

56 minSevilla are causing plenty of problems here! The ball is whipped in from the left from Escudero and it completely bypasses Karius, but Moreno is there to head clear.

58 minLiverpool have barely had a kick in this second half. Sevilla wok the ball around the danger area and win a corner, which doesn't get past the first man as Moreno clears.

59 minPENALTY TO SEVILLA!

60 minBEN YEDDER SCORES BUT IT'S DISALLOWED!

60 minGOAL! SEVILLA 2-3 LIVERPOOL (BEN YEDDER)

60 minWow, what drama! Are Sevilla on course for a comeback?! Moreno loses the ball in the box and sticks his leg out to stop Ben Yedder. The referee points to the spot and Ben Yedder scores, but he's forced to retake it for encroachment. It doesn't matter, though, as the forward goes the other way and gets that all-important goal.

63 minOFF THE BAR! Oh my word! Nolito charges into the box and hits the ball aiming for the roof of the net. It goes underneath the Karius and knocks the underside of the bar. There was an offside flag anyway.

65 minLiverpool are all over the place here! A few minutes ago, Klopp made a double change by taking off Moreno and Coutinho and replaced them with Milner and Can.

68 minBOOKING! Frustration is showing from the Liverpool captain Henderson as he loses the ball and tracks back to win it, but ends up committing a foul.

70 minA rare spell of possession for Liverpool as Salah gets the ball on the right side and cuts inside the box before trying to set himself up for a shot. He is unable to do so, though, as the ball gets snatched away.

71 minCHANCE! Liverpool come close to resuming control of the game! Sevilla lose the ball in a dangerous area and Firmino nicks it before squaring it to Salah, who shoots from the edge of the area, but it goes wide of the post.

73 minSEVILLA SUB: The hosts make a change as Nolito makes way for Muriel. There is still plenty of time for the Spanish side to equalise or even win the match!

75 minThe storm seems to have passed slightly for Liverpool as the play on the pitch is less frantic and the Reds have seen more of the ball, but the danger is always there from Sevilla.

76 minSarabia goes inside and plays the ball forward into the middle of the box, but Gomez gets there first to clear the danger, somewhat unconvincingly.

77 minSarabia charges down the right-hand side and crosses from the byline. Liverpool end up gaining control and play out from the back, but they lose the ball once again.

78 minCHANCE! After Sevilla's corner is punched clear by Karius, Liverpool counter with Salah, who ends up playing in Can. The midfielder shoots from inside the box, but Banega drops back to cut out the shot.

80 minMuriel tries to sneak inside behind Lovren, but the Liverpool defender stays strong and manages to guide the ball out for a goal kick.

81 minSEVILLA SUB: Goalscorer Ben Yedder makes way for Correa.

81 minMane tries to score his second of the night by thumping one forward in an attempt to beat the keeper, but his first-time effort goes high and wide.

85 minSevilla continue to probe and as he ball is cut back into the middle of the box, it just evades all the white shirts and Liverpool can breathe again. The Merseyside outfit are holding on...for now.

87 minLIVERPOOL SUB: The Reds try to run down the clock by bringing on Oxlade-Chamberlain for Salah.

88 minCHANCE! An opportunity for Liverpool. It's messy in the box, but the ball ends up at Milner's feet. The vice-captain gets the ball on the byline and sends it across goal but nobody is there to tap in.

90+1 minWe are into four minutes of injury time. Sevilla still have an opportunity to nab a point this evening. Liverpool are camped in their own half trying to make sure that doesn't happen.

90+3 minCHANCE! Late corner for Sevilla as Geis's shot from outside the box gets deflected for the set piece.

90+4 minGOAL! SEVILLA 3-3 LIVERPOOL (PIZARRO)

90+4 minSevilla fans are rocking! Their team equalise in the dying minutes of the game! Liverpool fail to clear their lines and Pizarro punishes them from inside the box by shooting past Karius.

90+5 minFULL-TIME: SEVILLA 3-3 LIVERPOOL

9.46pmWhat a dramatic game! After Liverpool looked destined for easy progression after going 3-0 up in the first half, they crumbled in the second as Sevilla fought back to claim a 3-3 draw. The dream isn't over as the Reds need just one point from their final group game against Spartak Moscow to qualify, but they could have done it the easy way.

9.50pmGoals from Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane put Liverpool in cruise control before the break, but Sevilla ripped up the narrative when Wissam Ben Yedder scored a header and then from the penalty spot. Guido Pizarro nabbed the crucial equaliser three minutes into injury time.

9.51pmThank you for joining us for this dramatic encounter! Be sure to stick around for all the Champions League match reports and reaction. Until next time, goodbye!
