Everton are reportedly eyeing up Kasper Schmeichel as a potential replacement for Tim Howard.

Everton are reportedly plotting a summer move for Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

According to The Sunday People, the Blues have earmarked the Denmark international as a potential replacement for Tim Howard, who left Goodison Park for Colorado Rapids at the end of the season.

Spanish goalkeeper Joel Robles, who replaced Howard as Everton's first-choice stopper last term, has been tipped to return to the back-up role if Schmeichel joins the club.

Leicester have added another goalkeeper to their ranks this summer, with Ron-Robert Zieler joining the Foxes from Hannover, although the German was thought to have been recruited as back-up to the Dane.
