Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez will reportedly reject a new contract at the club and wants to leave the King Power Stadium this summer.

Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has reportedly instructed his representatives to find him a new club this summer.

The 25-year-old's performances during Leicester's remarkable title-winning campaign last season saw him named the PFA Player of the Year, just two years after joining from Le Havre for £375,000.

That form has drawn the attention of a number of clubs both in England and abroad, and The Guardian now claims that Mahrez has decided to leave the King Power Stadium.

Leicester have offered the Algeria international a new deal at the club worth around £80,000 a week, but the report goes on to state that Mahrez will turn that contract down.

Mahrez does, however, have three years remaining on his current contract, having put pen to paper on a deal to keep him at the club until 2019 last August.

Leicester also look set to lose N'Golo Kante this summer after the Foxes reportedly agreed a £29m fee with Chelsea for the France international.
