Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira hints at future move to Premier League

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira hints that he would like to play in the Premier League at some stage of his career.

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has suggested that he would like to experience Premier League football before the end of his career.

Khedira spent time in his native Germany and Spain before completing a move to Juventus in 2015, and the former Stuttgart and Real Madrid man has been linked with a future switch to the MLS.

However, the German international has hinted that he wants to play in England, claiming that he likes the "pace" and "intensity" of the Premier League.

The 30-year-old told Stuttgarter Zeitung: "In general, I like new challenges, as there's so much I have not yet experienced. I'm still relatively young, I have a few years left. I still haven't had enough in football and want to win many more titles.

"I am very enthusiastic about the pace and the intensity of English football, as they often play straight forward. I like that very much, yes. You can't rule anything out in football."

Khedira has less than 18 months remaining on his contract at Juventus.
