Bartosz Bialkowski keen to remain at Ipswich Town

Goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski says that he is keen to commit his future to Ipswich Town, having held talks over a new contract at Portman Road.

Goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski has suggested that he is keen to commit his future to Ipswich Town.

During the January transfer window, Bialkowski was linked with a move to Crystal Palace, but the Eagles eventually decided to tie up a deal for Getafe stopper Vicente Guaita.

However, there has been talk of a new contract being agreed at Portman Road, and the Pole has acknowledged that he wants to continue his career with the Tractor Boys.

The 30-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "Obviously there are still a couple of things to sort out but hopefully we are going to sign the deal soon.

"I've still got the option for next year but like I said there are a couple more things that need to be sorted but I have said so many times before I love this place, I love the club and I'm really happy here."

Bialkowski is currently in his fourth campaign at Ipswich, with 134 appearances having being made in all competitions.
