Barnsley and Ghana full-back Andy Yiadom is reportedly on his way to Huddersfield Town for a medical ahead of a move to the Premier League side.

Barnsley full-back Andy Yiadom has edged closer to completing a move to Huddersfield Town, according to reports.

The 25-year-old, who signed for the Tykes from Barnet last summer, made 32 appearances in the Championship last season and earned plaudits for his performances.

According to The Sun, the two Yorkshire clubs have agreed a deal, with Yiadom currently on his way to Huddersfield for a medical.

Should the deal be confirmed, Yiadom would become David Wagner's 11th signing in a hectic summer of transfers following promotion to the Premier League.

Yiadom, who can play on both flanks and in midfield, was called up to the Ghana squad as reward for his form last season, and went to the Africa Cup of Nations.
