Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty 'enters talks with Hearts'

Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty reportedly enters talks with Scottish outfit Hearts.

Northern Ireland international Kyle Lafferty has reportedly entered talks with Scottish Premiership side Hearts.

The striker, who is available on a free transfer, has travelled to Edinburgh to discuss terms with the club's management, according to BBC Sport.

Lafferty has prior experience of Scottish football, having played for Rangers between 2008 and 2012.

The 29-year-old left the Glasgow giants for Swiss side Sion and has since played for Palermo in Italy, Turkish outfit Rizespor, Birmingham City and Norwich City.

Norwich released Lafferty at the end of last season.
