Joachim Low makes a raft of changes to his Germany starting lineup, with Mesut Ozil among the returning players to face Hungary.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has returned to Germany's starting lineup for this afternoon's international friendly meeting with Hungary in Gelsenkirchen.

The World Cup holders were stunned 3-1 by Slovakia in their last outing, but manager Joachim Low has brought back a number of key players for his side's last outing prior to Euro 2016.

Toni Kroos also returns alongside Ozil in midfield, while at the back Jerome Boateng and Antonio Rudiger retain their places in the heart of defence.

Bayern Munich youngster Joshua Kimmich drops out of the side from the defeat to Slovakia last weekend, meanwhile, with Low instead bringing in Benedikt Howedes.

In terms of the visitors, Germany-based striker Adam Szalai is given the nod up top ahead of Gergo Lovrencsics, who will provide support from deep.

Manager Bernd Storck has made two changes in total from last time out, as he prepares his side for their opening European Championship group-stage fixture against Austria in 10 days' time.

Germany XI: Neuer, Hector, Howedes, Khedira, Ozil, Draxler, Muller, Rudiger, Boateng, Kroos, Gotze

Hungary XI: Kiraly, Fiola, Guzmics, Lang, Kadar, Pinter, Nagy, Dzsudzsak, Kleinheisler, Lovrencsics, Szalai
