Slavisa Jokanovic "really disappointed" with lack of activity

Slavisa Jokanovic once again hits out at the Fulham hierarchy for their 'lack of direction' when it comes to bringing in new recruits.

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has suggested that the club's board should consider sacking him if they do not want to consider his transfer advice.

The 49-year-old has discussed his frustrations of being overlooked when it comes to transfer matters in the past, reportedly issuing the Cottagers an ultimatum during the summer.

Jokanovic, linked with the Swansea City job last month, remains unhappy that his opinion is not being taken into consideration and concedes that the fallout may end with him out of work.

"This January I am really disappointed with the information around us," he told reporters. "We don't have any clear targets and, for the direction of the club, I have some information that we are strong enough to fight for the important targets.

"I don't believe this. I am really disappointed with our situation and I expect the club will change their opinion. I don't know if we don't have the money or don't want to spend the money, but we are not competitive enough for the period in front of us.

"The solution? I don't know, but probably if the coach doesn't trust that we are strong enough then probably an option that the club must be thinking about is sacking the coach, and this can be a good option for the club."

Fulham brought in two new strikers during the summer - Rui Fonte and Aboubakar Kamara - but the duo have managed just seven league goals between them so far.
