Alex Iwobi suggests that he has already settled into life at Everton after ending his long-term association with Arsenal during the summer.

Summer signing Alex Iwobi has suggested that he has already settled into life at Everton.

Despite making regular appearances during Unai Emery's first season at Arsenal, Iwobi was allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium to move to Goodison Park in the summer.

The Nigeria international was departing a club which he had been with for 15 years, although the playmaker has indicated that he is already enjoying life on Merseyside.

The 23-year-old told Sky Sports: "It's so far, so good, I feel like I've got a new home and I'm really comfortable here.

"I got a few phone calls and spoke to my agent - it took about a day of talking to the manager [Marco Silva} and talking to Marcel Brands. It wasn't really hard and I got convinced.

"I was very comfortable at Arsenal and I was on holiday so I didn't think about any move. I got the call and thought about if this would be a better chance for me to improve myself as a player. I thought that this was a big opportunity and I shouldn't turn it down. I've got no regrets about the decision."

Iwobi has contributed two goals from his opening four outings in all competitions.
