Roy Hodgson insists that he is 'relaxed' over his future as England boss, despite entering the final weeks of his contract.

Roy Hodgson has insisted that he is 'relaxed' over his future as England boss.

Hodgson's current deal with the national team will expire after Euro 2016, and Football Association chairman Greg Dyke recently claimed that the 68-year-old's fate would depend on the team's performance in France this summer.

Hodgson, however, has claimed that he is only focusing on this summer's European Championships.

"It's been raised many times before, it doesn't make any difference one way or another. My contract runs out after this tournament, that's fact everyone has known about for the last two years," Hodgson told reporters.

"On a regular basis it gets brought up - should I stay, do I want to stay, what should the FA do? Nothing changes in that respect. For myself and the players there is only one thing on our minds and that's to win the next game and see how far we can go."

England currently sit top of Group B ahead of their final group match against Slovakia on Monday night.
