Crystal Palace reportedly tell Marseille that they will have to pay over £7m if they want to secure a reunion with goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

Marseille have reportedly been told that they will have to at least quadruple their bid to sign Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

Last summer, Mandanda left the Stade Velodrome to move to the Premier League, but his last first-team appearance came in November.

It allegedly led to Marseille making a bid in the region of £1.5m, but according to L'Equipe, Palace have shunned that offer and demanded over £7m for the 32-year-old.

Before signing a deal at Selhurst Park, Mandanda had spent nine years with Marseille where he made 288 starts in all competitions.

The Ligue 1 outfit remain keen on a reunion, but they are unlikely to be willing to pay an inflated price for his services.
