A report claims that Antonio Conte is deliberating over whether to push ahead with a move for Romelu Lukaku, at the risk of upsetting current striker Diego Costa.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will reportedly hold face-to-face talks with Diego Costa later this week to determine whether to bring in a new striker.

The Spain international revealed after the Blues' 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in Saturday's FA Cup final that he is currently mulling over his future.

Costa was the subject of a big-money bid from Chinese Super League outfit Tianjin Quanjian earlier this year, but he insists that former club Atletico Madrid are the only side he will consider joining if Chelsea are to sell him this summer.

According to The Telegraph, Conte is still keen to push through a move for Romelu Lukaku in the coming weeks but is equally wary of upsetting his current first-choice striker.

The two men will meet this week and lay out what the future holds, with the Italian said to have been given up to £200m to bring in new recruits.

Conte still has a decision to make over as many as nine first-team players during the off-season, as there continues to be uncertainty over the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Michy Batshuayi, Nathan Ake and Nemanja Matic.
