A report claims that Andrea Belotti will cost Chelsea £90m to sign from Torino, as the Blues admit defeat in their pursuit of top target Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea are to fully focus on signing Andrea Belotti from Torino after missing out on top summer target Romelu Lukaku, according to a report.

The Blues have been forced to look elsewhere as Everton striker Lukaku is expected to complete a move to Manchester United by the end of the weekend, despite the Premier League champions matching their rivals' £75m offer.

United had themselves shown an interest in Belotti earlier in the window, only to be put off by Torino's hefty asking price for the striker, thought to be around £87m.

It is claimed by The Mirror that the Italian outfit now want even more for the 23-year-old Italy international, who registered 32 goals for club and country last season.

Chelsea were willing to pay up to £90m for Lukaku and as a result Torino want an identical sum, meaning that an increasingly frustrated Antonio Conte may have to look further down his transfer wishlist.

Real Madrid ace Alvaro Morata is the other player Chelsea have reportedly made an enquiry about, but his representatives revealed on Friday that no approach has been made by any team other than Man United.
