Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman has completed a move to Schalke 04 on a season-long loan.

The Ghanaian left-back struggled for regular game time last season, making 23 appearances and 19 starts.

New manager Antonio Conte does not appear to have the defender in his plans, but rather than a permanent deal, has sent him out on loan to gain first-team minutes.

Rahman moved to Stamford Bridge from Augsburg last year, and now he will return to Germany for the 2016-17 campaign.
